Established in 1997 on the initiative of the Maison des Cultures du Monde, The Festival de l’Imaginaire is a cultural event that aims to highlight the different traditions and cultures of the world. For its 19th edition, the Festival de L’Imaginaire will run from October 9 to December 20, 2015 at the Maison des Cultures du Monde.
Rituals, performances and world music: the Festival de L’Imaginaire is an open stage to the citizens and civilizations of the modern world allowing them to highlight their least known and rarest forms of expression. For this edition, the festival announced his willingness to share and set its programming policy on the exploration, discovery and revelation by seeking to bring viewers a perpetual curiosity.
The Festival de l’Imaginaire offers in fact a sacred opportunity to know a lot about the different civilizations, as a part of the very essence of living in Paris, a city marked by the presence of a thousand of communities and cultures. On this occasion, artists of all ages and from around the world are invited to highlight their rituals, and rare performances.
For a whole three months, visitors are promised an exceptional program of shows and artistic performances where they can learn more about the vastness of the world, the diversity of its cultures and especially the importance of preserving those rare artistic forms.
