MEXIQUE (1900–1950)

MEXIQUE (1900–1950)

The Réunion des Musées Nationaux – Grand Palais will be putting on view MEXIQUE (1900–1950), until January 23, 2017.

The exhibition which holds more than 200 artworks including unique paintings, photographs, and sculptures, was actually arranged in cooperation with the Musée National d’Art and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes of Mexico and considered the largest one to be organized in honor of Mexican art since 1953.

MEXIQUE (1900–1950) features interesting and wonderful works by leading Mexican art figures such as the Surrealist and Feminist painter who was best known for her self-portraits Frida Kahlo (1907 – 1954), her husband the renowned Muralist painter Diego Rivera (1886 – 1957), and the famous Modernist artist Rufino Tamayo (1899 – 1991).

Our Grands Hotels Parisiens are located at a very short distance from the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais, which makes it a great opportunity for our dear guests to visit this amazing exhibition.
