Maurice Denis and Eugène Delacroix – From Studio to Museum

The celebrated Musée National Eugène-Delacroix Paris is putting on display a special and truly interesting exhibition called "Maurice Denis and Eugène Delacroix – From Studio to Museum" from 03 May 2017 until 28 August 2017. 

The exhibition aims to bring to light the efforts of many 20th century artists like Maurice Denis, Edouard Vuillard, Georges Desvallières, Pierre Bonnard, and Emile Bernard who worked dedicatedly to save the last studio of Delacroix and to convert it into a museum that stands tall today.

The exhibition showcases the works of Maurice Denis and helps visitors to draw parallels in between his works and those of Delacroix. Even if you are not a fan of both the artists, you can still use this exhibition to discover their works. 

The exhibits will include loans of works by Denise and his contemporaries and will assist you to trace the history of the various artists who played major roles in transforming Delacroix’s last home from a studio to a museum.
