Magritte: La trahison des images”, a spectacular monographic exhibition devoted to the popular Surrealist artist René Magritte (1898 – 1967) and that will be running until January 23rd, 2017, at the Parisian landmark the Centre Georges Pompidou, in the 4th arrondissement of the city.

“Magritte: La trahison des images” offers a completely new approach to the work of Magritte and presents some 100 thought-provoking and intriguing creations including La trahison des images (1929), La lampe philosophique (1936), L’ellipse (1948), and Les vacances de Hegel (1958), which are classified among his best and most renowned paintings.

The exhibition is curated by: Mnam/Cci Didier Ottinger.
