The work of Gustav Klimt continues to capture the imagination of all those that discover him. It is great fun to trace the patterns in the backgrounds and landscapes. We get drawn in by all the gold and the beauty of the figures. This is great in a gallery with a painting before us. But, Klimt’s works take on a whole new life when we begin to dissect it and go deeper into the themes. That is exactly what visitors can do when they visit the Klimt show at the Atelier des Lumieres. The digital show projects images across the space and deconstructs them to a soundtrack of Viennese Waltz. It is an immersive experience that is unforgettable.
This striking, unforgettable nature is why this show is back for two more runs at this venue. It was a big hit in 2018 and is now back for those that missed out. The first series takes places from now until the 24th of August. There is then another series between October 29th and November 2nd.
From 1 to 24 August 2019 and from 29 October to 2 November 2019.
