Located at the Champs-Élysées, close to the Le Palais de L’Élysée and the Place de la Concorde, until June 05th, 2017, the famous historic site and museum complex, the Grand Palais will be presenting an important exhibition under the title of “From the Great Mughals to the Maharajas: Jewels from the Al Thani Collection”.
Devoted to the jewellery traditions of the Indian subcontinent starting from the period of the Mughal Empire, the exhibition covers more than 250 precious pieces from the Al Thani Collection, and other prestigious institutions and private collections.
Conveniently set in the heart of the city, within a stone’s throw from the leading landmarks of the city, our Grands Hotels Parasiens are actually situated in close proximity to the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées. So, don’t miss the chance to discover the evolution of gem-setting in India over the last five centuries, if you’re one of our guests.
