Enquêtes vagabondes at Musée Guimet
« Enquêtes vagabondes, le voyage illustré d’Émile Guimet en Asie » is an exhibition held at the iconic Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet (MNAAG), in the 16th arrondissement of the City of Light, Paris.

The exhibition started on October 18th, 2017 and will continue to run until February 26th, 2018. It illustrates the fascinating trip of the French industrialist and connoisseur, Émile Guimet (1836 – 1918), to China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the United States, a journey in which he was accompanied by the French painter and illustrator, Félix Régamey (1844 - 1907).

An extraordinary and rich selection of photographs, large format paintings, drawings, personal items, and many other amazingly interesting things to discover, awaits you, at the Musée Guimet–the museum which was born thanks to the hard efforts of this great figure and his desire to study and understand the different religions of the Far East.

Musée Guimet is located in the heart of Paris, near the Jardins du Trocadéro and not far from the Eiffel Tower.
