The exhibition spaces of Grand Palais are somewhere that many art lovers will visit countless times over the year. Curators here have a habit of bringing shows that ensure that patrons take a second look at an artist, movement or location from another perspective. This summer, visitors continue to enjoy the pioneering work of an Austrian master of Abstraction. In September, we get to change country, theme and century with a new arrival. This time we go from Viennese to Venetian and the work of a series of artists from the early 18th century.
Eblouissante Venise translates as Dazzling Venice, and the hope is that this show will dazzle its audience with the quality and diversity of the work exhibited. This great collection is here for the whole season, from September 26th until January 21st. It should inspire French art lovers with its landscapes, portraits and snapshots into a fantastic period of Italian art history.
