Contemporary Art: Panorama by Eva Jospin on view at the Louvre Museum, Paris

Until August 28, 2016, the Louvre Museum will be displaying one of the most impressive contemporary artworks Panorama by Eva Jospin.

Created exceptionally to suit the Cour Carrée of the Louvre, Panorama has been placed atop of the fountain, at the center of the louvre’s magnificent courtyard, since April 12th, 2016.

All visitors are freely able to contemplate this architectural work not only from the outside but also from the inside.

Panorama is in fact made from different materials, some of them are not often used in visual arts such as cardboard.

While the exterior is made from mirror-polished steel and metal, the interior, on the other hand, is in fact carefully designed by using both wood and cardboard.
