Carl Andre: Sculpture as Place, 1958–2010

Until February 12th, 2017, Carl Andre, the renowned 20th-century American minimalist artist is the center of attention at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.

A remarkable number of amazing pieces are on view at the museum on this occasion including 40 sculptures, many poems, photographs, as well as works on paper and other interesting items.

The exhibition “Sculpture as Place, 1958–2010” is the first exhibition dedicated to Carl Andre in France in twenty years. It was designed by the Dia Art Foundation in collaboration with the artist, and was showcased in New York (2014), Madrid (2015) and Berlin (2016).

The Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is located at a short distance walk of approximately 15 minutes from Les Grands Hotels Parisiens. So, mark it on your calendar! ;)
