The Petit Palais yet again celebrates one of the finest Swedish artists Anders Zorn, by showcasing a series of his profound works, from September 15, 2017, all through to December 17, 2017.
The main focus of the exhibition is to let the audiences cruise through a selection of nearly 150 works of Zorn, who excelled in producing fascinating realistic artworks using brilliant, luminous watercolors.
The artist’s transition to oil paintings is also highlighted and shown to the public through numerous pieces painted with his basic color palette which consists of lead white, yellow ochre, vermillion and ivory black.
Alongside with his well-known painting masterpieces, the exhibition will showcase rare photos on loan from Zorn Museum in Mora and the national museum of Stockholm.
