A Festival Devoted to Games Shows How Much Fun Paris Can Be
You are never too old for games, and there is no better place to have fun than Paris during the spring. In the 12th arrondissement, a festival called 'Paris Est Ludique' ('Paris Is Fun') will offer its fourth edition to Paris residents and visitors alike. There will be entertainment for both children and adults, as the makers of a wide variety of board games gather in one place: the Leo Lagrange Boulodrome.

More the 200 stands will be set up, each offering a different game to play. Strategy games, wooden games and giant games all have their place. Participants will find games that are appropriate for all ages, from the littlest ones to the avid grown-up gamers. There will even be game tournaments going on for the most competitive. The Paris Est Ludique Festival also gives visitors the chance to discover games that will hit the French market in the future.

As a result, participants can not only enjoy a board game or two, they can also take advantage of the beautiful weather and green spaces that Paris offers in the springtime. The festival takes place on the 14th and 15th of June, 2014 — right before things really start to heat up in the summer. Guests staying at one of the Grands Hôtels Parisiens can therefore take in the leisurely sights and the sounds during a weekend fun of games at the Leo Lagrange Boulodrome.

From games based off of books and fantasy stories to games made to be played outdoors, a range of entertainment offerings will be on display during the festival. For those who want to continue the fun back in their rooms, many games will be on sale in four specialized boutiques installed just for the occasion.
