The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal is located on the right bank of the river Seine, in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, one of the oldest districts in the capital.

In addition to its central location, the hotel is housed in one of Paris’ most famous and architecturally beautiful buildings, the Palais Royal. The building was designed by architect Jacques Lemercier and took six years to be built, being completed in 1639. This magnificent and historic mansion is currently partly registered at the historical monuments inventory.

The hotel is situated a stone’s throw away from many of Paris’ main attractions including the Louvre, the Tuileries gardens, rue St Honoré, Place Vendome and the Opera.
